We have a bunch of exciting news we wanted to share.

Our single �East Coast Woman� has been selected by QuickStar Productions to be on an acoustic CD sampler entitled �Chill Out� the East Coast Edition.  The CD Sampler is a compilation of independent acoustic artists throughout the east coast.  The sampler will be available in early November and will available on all music digital download sites (Itunes, Napster, Walmart, Best Buy, etc.).  Physical copies will be available at CD Depot and all Record and Tape Traders stores.  The CD will also be sent to over 250 radio stations and marketed to labels and promoters.   We will also have copies available at our shows.   The CD sampler version of  �East Coast Woman� can now be heard or our myspace. (http://www.myspace.com/friendsoftomband).  �East Coast Woman� has also been getting airplay on WXLV 90.3 FM, so tune in and check it out.

On Saturday, September 29, we will be playing live on WXLV 90.3FM as part of the one year birthday celebration of WXLV Roots 90.3FM.   We will be performing from 2:00-3:00pm.   Come on out or tune in to this wonderful party,  There will be food, raffles, and give-a-ways.  Following us will be �Wooden Nickel�, �The Druckenmillers�, and from Philadelphia, the country blues-rock of �Jim Stanson�.  This is sure to be a terrific event, so stop by the station at LCCC, be part of the live audience, or just hang out for the fun.   To get to the station, enter LCCC and follow the main road until you can�t go any more, the station will be on the left.

Then on October 5th, we will be opening for Randy Weeks at Johnny and Hons Bar and Grill in Reading.  (Check the web site for the address). Randy�s claim to fame is penning �Can�t Let Go� on Lucinda Williams' break through album �Car Wheels on a Gravel Road�.   Yes, that�s the one we�ve been covering since the band started.  Randy is on a national tour and promoting his latest album Sugarfinger.     Check out Randy on http://www.randyweeks.com/ or http://www.myspace.com/randyweeks.  (This is a �real-rock/cool country promotion - http://www.realrock.5u.com/)

 On the CD front, we have been logging the hours at Dan�s House Studio and making good progress on our CD.  We are approximately half way through the recordings and hope to have the CD available by the end of the year.

On a final note, we would like to thank the everyone who continue to show up at our gigs.  We really do appreciate your effort to come out to our gigs and support us along the way!  There are also some more shows in between what�s listed above so check out our website for more info.
